For example, a plot event has a script that isn't dependent or updated based on relationships. But it was implemented by just having every character be an insufferable p**** that forgets you're close friends every time there is a scripted event. might have lead to something pretty fresh and interesting if done right. They made the decision that the town should be lees friendly and unwelcoming which. But so far the development has been a pretty bad example of second game syndrome, where a developer with a surprise hit doesn't understand why people liked it. It has all the Porta stuff, mechanics wise, and for the most part they are refined and enjoyable.
